Our service was unique in the area, as we specialized in “waterhog” entrance mats. The waterhog mat has many advantages over the standard rental mat. In 2005, the company shifted direction to sales. We are now offering this superior matting system to the end users. Today, can present you with many different styles and colours. The possibilities are almost endless. We have developed our product line to include all types of mats, including anti-fatigue mats, entrance mats, and interior mats. We have mats for all applications. Canada Mat is in the position of being able to do custom installation of our product. We also offer a cleaning service on any waterhog product we sell.

The waterhog mat is slip resistant. It stays in position where it is placed. If there are any issues of the mat moving, there are a wide variety of remedies to eliminate any problems.

The waterhog mat holds more water and dirt. The water dam around the edge keeps the water and dirt inside the mat. The bi-level system keeps feet away from the water and dirt inside. The rubber backing prevents water from seeping through to the floor. The water can simply evaporate, and the dirt then vacuumed away. Cleaning is easy, in most cases. For higher traffic areas, or locations that are very messy, it is recommended that a deep cleaning be performed from time to time. The greatly extends the life of the mat.

The waterhog mat lasts longer than other types of mats. The waterhog mat wears out very slowly and remains very effective. Other types of mats deteriorate from the back out. Some will wear out quickly on top, but continue to be in use. These mats do not perform their function. Based on traffic conditions, a waterhog mat will last 2, 3 or 4 times longer than other matting products. The most important consideration is that the waterhog mat will continue to function effectively throughout its life. This is because the structure of the mat is rubber. In low traffic areas, the mat could last “forever”.
